This is German DRP 561790, Gustav Karl, 16 Sep 1931 marked D.R.P. It has a very unique mechanism for removing the cork. The barrel is held in place by a strong spring and the shaft is a grooved spiral - very unlike most other corkscrews.
From SCReWbase "OPERATION: Begins with the worm extended and barrel fully up (aided by springs). Clockwise turning inserts worm (entire piece rotates). When barrel reaches bottle - further clockwise turning causes the lefthand threaded shaft to rise and pull cork."
