Rare example of a Kummer corkscrew marked “DRGM 263041” on one side of the frame (the number is not very clear at the end) and “METEOR” on the other side (partly visible). It has a moveable frame and a partly hidden spring inside a tube. The frame locks into the tube via a small notch at the bottom of the tube. This is the 1905 German Registered Design of Louis Kummer.
See Peters - Mechanical Corkscrews page 92, Peters – German Corkscrew Registrations page 43, Ellis & Ellis – Corkscrews page 132
Condition – Very good, steel frame is pitted with small traces of bronzing, the spring shows rust, the worm is intact, the varnished wooden handle has a few marks.

Seller accepts PayPal payments | |
Payment Details: | Paypal, Bank Transfer or UK Check. Seller would appreciate if items over 500 pounds value could be paid by Bank Transfer and not Paypal. This is due to major problems experienced previously with Paypal, plus their very high fees. Bank details will be sent on request. |
