This is the original corkscrew shown in Mechanical Corkscrews. Figure 233. Spring barrel corkscrew based on Kürschner’s registration No. 93,678. The movable clip is better held in position by the sliding ring. Marked DRGM 152292, German registered design No. 152, 292, Johan Wolters of Düsseldorf, March 29, 1901.
