Marked JHP DEPOSÉ in the usual circular Pérille mark. French patent No. 112,465, Jacques Pérille of Paris, April 15, 1876. Still shown in J. Pérille’s 1928 catalogue as the CRÉMAILLIÈRE and No. 90. Early example have a crown on top of the top handle, twentieth century examples have not.
