1904 Sunderland’s English Patent - The King
This corkscrew was patented by Frederick Sunderland of Birmingham, England on March 12, 1904. Its patented feature is based on the ratchet-like clutch or crab piece which rotates freely up and down on the threaded shaft. Brass frame version marked "The King" on one side of the frame & "Patent 6064" on the other side. It measures 6 ¾”.
