EDWARD THOMASON'S COMPOUND PATENT, FULLY MARKED
TWO SUPPORT OPEN BELL W/REPLACEABLE BRUSH
This is a wonderful fully marked example of Edward Thomason's English Patent No. 2617, May 7, 1802. It is marked on the top of the shoulder, "EDWARD THOMASON'S COMPOUND PATENT NE PLUS ULTRA" and on top of the button, "THOMASON'S PATENT NE PLUS ULTRA". In addition, the brush unscrews from the handle so as to be replaced.
