We are offering a very rare late 19th c. straight-pull corkscrew, possibly a prototype, with the steel handle containing a mechical wire cutter. I've not seen another example of this possibly unique corkscrew. It came from an English collection that was sold at auction some years ago.
Very good mechanical condition and generally very good overall, noting a patch of pitting at one end of one side of the handle.
