French Patents, Paradi's Cook Book & Le Secq de Tournells CSs

French Corkscrew Patents, by Joseph C. Paradi (and Joe), 1988.

Rare, and I believe the first book on French patents in a paperback volume of the patent drawings in chronological order, beginning with 1828 through 1972.  99 pages with an introduction and table of contents.  The drawings are all in black and white, with a nice color cover illustrated with many French corkscrews from Joe's collection.

 Measures approx. 8 3/4 X 11 1/8 inches.

Condition: Used but in nice condition with no tears or creases.

Overall: 9/10.

Cookbook for Corkscrew Collectors, edited by Monika Paradi, 1991.

Amusing book with over 150 recipes which were contributed by various members of the Canadian Corkscrew Collectors Club, each recipe illustrated with a different corkscrew which relates (sometimes loosely) to the name of the recipe.  Many rare corkscrews are illustrated, and the recipes are really pretty good!

Measures approximately 8 3/4 X 11 inches.  In English, 193 pages, indexed, and illustrated in black & white photos.

Condition:  No tears or creases.  Overall 9/10.

Les Tire-Bouchons du Musée Le Secq des Tournelles, 1999.  "Conceptualized by Philippe Songy; Text: Guy Olive; Layout: Gérard Bidault; Translation: Antoine Songy".

Wonderful catalog which features many of the museum's fine 18th & 19th century steel, gold inlay, brass and bronze corkscrews.  Illustrated mostly with black & white photos, and a few in color.  This publication was produced for the 1999 annual general meeting of the Canadian Corkscrew Collectors Club in Saumur, France.

27 pages.

 Measures approx. 8 1/4 X 11 5/8 inches.  27 pages.

Condition: No tears or creases. Overall condition: 9/10.
