DESCRIPTION

This is German DRP 28,963, Ernst Demmler, 04 Apr 1884 - "Perpetual" embossed brass barrel version - bone handle and brush - unmarked.


Demmler's invention consists of a crossover grooved shaft which is controlled by a pin in the neck of the barrel.  This allows the cork to be withdrawn by continously rotating the handle in a clockwise direction.

CONDITION

Verg good condition - the mechanism is loose when no force it applied to the worm - with force applied it operates correctly - worm is slightly twisted at the tip - satisfaction guaranteed.
