18th Century Silver gilt etui, finger loop T corkscrew
Elegant 18th Century silver gilt etui with lovely gilded repousse floral and scroll decorations against a wound silver? wire background with a ruby red glass button to open it.
Inside is a gilded pencil top, missing the pencil, a flat gilded pricker with ear scoop, lovely gilded folding knife with floral decoration, small steel scissors with gilded handles and decorative arms, and a charming corkscrew with a gilded finger loop handle, decorative shaft and very tight Archimedean worm.

Condition – Good, some damage to silver wires near the bottom of the case on one side, some dirt and tarnish – the silver has not been cleaned. 2 tools missing. Knife blade has marks and slight rusting and a patch of lost gilding on one side, pencil is missing from holder, gilding is worn on scissors, corkscrew has lost very end tip. Etui opens and closes OK.
