The steel frame with wooden handle version of Frederick Sunderland and John Cox’s British Patent 6064, 12 Mar 1904.
While the frame is made from steel, the shaft and the crab piece are both brass. The particularity of this corkscrew is that there is a crab piece that goes up and down the shaft. After the worm is inserted, the crab piece engages the special neck frame and makes the shaft go up thus extracting the cork.
One side of the frame is marked THE KING, and the other PATENT 6064.
The corkscrew is in very good condition.
