DESCRIPTION
This is British Registration 1,950, Edwin Cotterill, 12 Oct 1842.
Badge reads - Edwin Cotterill - Patent -Self-Adjusting with the Royal Coat of Arms (Crown missing).
This invention consists of a crossover grooved shaft which is controlled by a pin in the neck of the barrel. This allows the cork to be withdrawn by continously rotating the handle in a clockwise direction.
