This rare dual ‘Spring Frame’ German corkscrew was registered in Germany, by Carl Ulrich on January 17, 1895. It is marked "D.R.G.S." instead of the more common D.R.G.M. The letters "D.R.G.S." stands for "Deutches Reichs Gebrauchsmuster Shutz” – German Empire Patent Protection. Shaped wood handle. 13 cm
In overall good condition, with only some light marking to the steel, and light wear to the handle, as would be expected. The centre worm is full length, retaining the straight spike section.
