Two good late 19th-century champagne taps. The tap on the left with spherical top works in an interesting manner. When the side lever is depressed the pointed end fits tightly into the collar to allow for penetration. When it is lifted the pointed end moves to the side to allow for the flow of champagne. The second is “THE GEM TAP” and is marked as such on the turning knob. Length of Gem: 5" or 12.5 cms. Some loss of plating on Gem. Presumably both are either English or American.
