DESCRIPTION
A nickel-plated steel double lever with wide rack marked "ETERNO": Etor Cardini's 1945 patent. See Peters Mechanical Corkscrews, p. 207. It is being offered with a chunky brass-framed example with female-threaded shoulder. The worm, in Peters' words is: "affixed to an inner unthreaded shaft that turns freely inside the hollow thread shaft." Very mellow patina. See Peters' Mechanical Corkscrews, p.116.
