Armstrong Patent Compound Lever 1902

Early version of Henry David Armstrong’s 1902 British Patent No 10595 for a compound lever with six arms.
It is grey aluminium finished steel, marked on one arm on both sides “H.D. Armstrong Patt Appd For”.  It was known as “The Irresistible”.
It was also patented in France 1902, Germany 1902, and USA 1903.

See Ellis – Corkscrews – page 121, Wallis – British Corkscrew Patents – page 139, Peters - Mechanical Corkscrews – page 215.

Condition – Very good, about 50% of the aluminium finish has been lost – it was obviously not as durable as nickel plating, mechanism works OK, bladed worm is intact.

Shipping Cost:

Seller accepts PayPal payments
Payment Details:

Paypal, Bank Transfer or UK Check.

Seller would appreciate if items over 500 pounds value could be paid by Bank Transfer and not Paypal.  This is due to major problems experienced previously with Paypal, plus their very high fees.  Bank details will be sent on request.
