DESCRIPTION
BB Wells Version of Royal Club 1864 Patent
For those who already have a Royal Club, this is a rare version made by BB Wells. Single lever with rollers, marked “C HULL’S PATENT, ROYAL CLUB CORKSCREW and with coat of arms” on one side of handle and “SOLD BY BB WELLS, STRAND LONDON, CUTLER AND DRESSING CASE MANUFACTURER” on the other side. Tablet is not marked.
Condition – very good –only small traces of bronze finish at back of tablet and at top lever fixing, worm is complete.
