Edward Thomason Harvest Barrel Corkscrew.
Edward Thomason Harvest Barrel Corkscrew. Thomason's English Patent # 2,617, dated May 7, 1802. This is the harvest barrel version which has an embossed barrel decorated with grapes and vines. This piece is in excellent clean condition. The mechanism operates smoothly and has no broken or damaged parts. The barrel has no dents or cracks. The bone handle is complete with the dusting brush and hanging ring. The handle has no chips or cracks. The corkscrew worm is full length with a sharp point.
