DESCRIPTION
English Sunderland Patent - Marked THE KING PATENT 6064
English Fredrick Sunderland patent # 6064, dated March 12, 1904. Manufactured by Coney & Co. Birmingham. This piece has a revolving crab piece on the shaft to reverse the direction of movement of the worm and pull the cork. This example is marked "THE KING PATENT 6064" on the sides of the frame. This example is in good overall condition and retains much of the original copper wash. It is in good working order with no broken or damaged parts. The handle has no chips or cracks and is complete with the brush. The corkscrew worm is full length with a sharp point. (Please see pictures for additional details).
