DESCRIPTION

THIS ENGLISH 19TH CENTURY THOMASON TYPE DOUBLE ACTION CORKSCREW HAS TURNED RINGS ON THE BRASS BARREL AND UNUSUAL VERTICAL LINED MARKINGS. THERE IS A BADGE  MARKED 'PATENT' BETWEEN LION AND UNICORN SUPPORTERS.  IT HAS AN ORIGINAL TURNED BONE HANDLE. 

CONDITION

THE CORKSCREW IS IN GOOD MECHANICAL ORDER. THE BRUSH IS MISSING, THE ORIGINAL BONE HANDLE HAS SOME DARK DISCOLOURATION, CHIPS AND CRACKS AT BOTH ENDS. THERE ARE TWO SMALL DISCOLOURED MARKS ON THE BARREL.
