DESCRIPTION
English Open Frame Corkscrew with Threaded Shaft & Flynut
A 19th Century English open frame corkscrew with oval handle threaded shaft and flynut. The flynut is attached to the top of the frame and is turned to extract the cork after insertion turning the top oval handle. This piece is in very good condition and has a nice dark patina. The corkscrew worm is full length with a sharp point. A similar example is show in World Class Corkscrews Page 187. (Please see pictures for additional details).
