This is the small frame variant of Edward E. Brown corkscrew, patented in 1895. It has a crab piece placed on the threaded shaft which allows insertion in the cork and extraction using only a clockwise rotation of the handle. This is the unmarked version.
Pictures with it can be found in Fred O’Leary’s Corkscrews book, at page 93.
The piece is in good condition, with some nickel-plating left here and there.
