Old corkscrew according to Georg Usbeck's patent of September 9, 1902
This manufacturer took a standard open-frame corkscrew and added an unusual locking mechanism. A cross bar is attached to the rod. It has two hooks that lock the frame to pull out the cap once the wick is inserted into it.
