DESCRIPTION
Not seen another one of these. Lovely Thomason with good handle tight to the shaft, few nicks and rebrushed. Few dings on the barrel but nothing to spoil and double action mechanism works very well. The rarity of this piece is the badge, marked FANNIN & CO 41 Grafton St DUBLIN. Fannin still operate today in Dublin and their website states ‘Est 1829 John Fannin opened a medical library and reading room at 41 Grafton Street, aptly described as a Medical Library Institution’ Finally good long original worm.
CONDITION
Good, few small nicks on the handle and few small dings on the barrel but neither spoil this piece.
