DESCRIPTION

Very Rare J.A.Henckels Side Rack and Pinion German Corkscrew 1870's

It is considered to be partly based on the second part of Sunderland 1870 patent - the inner plain freely turning shaft – as per F. Peters red Book.
This piece is made of steel with partly visible copper finish.
Marked in an unusual manner J.A.Henckels with logo and marked with number 20 on the pinion.

The piece is in a good working condition. The worm is of the full length.
The wooden handle has the orginal paint. Worned, scratched at some place is corroded. See the photos!
