Lot of four split frame spring tension corkscrews.
-The first item from the left is a Columbus type corkscrew, it has a wooden handle painted red, it is an unmarked variant.
-The second item from the left is an unmarked example with split frame made from tin.
It’s the: German registered design No. 354,940, by Gustav Twellsiek, from October 15, 1908.
It can be seen on page 97 of “Mechanical Corkscrews” by Ferd. Peters.
-The third item from the left is another variation of the Columbus type, it is marked “Columbus ORIGINAL” on one side of the frame.
It can be seen on page 64 of “The Ultimate Corkscrew Book” by Don Bull.
-The fourth item from the left is also a variation of the Columbus type, this one is marked “ORIGINAL-BACCHUS” on one side of the frame, it has a small logo on the other side.
A similar item can be seen on page 64 of “The Ultimate Corkscrew Book” by Don Bull.
All the Corkscrews are in a good working condition.
