Ellis Collection - Italian Vogliotti 1910 Patent & Sturo Double Levers
2 similar Italian plated steel double levers with pivot hinges -
1) Classic double lever with a hinged neck ring which opens for use and closes to protect the worm. Both arms are marked “Brevetti Vogliotti Torino” for the 1910 Italian Patent of Placido Vogliotti. 10.5 cms
2) Unmarked version of the Sturo variant – pivot hinges are opposite to the Vogliotti, the central guide for the worm is wider and flattened and the neck ring is fixed and does not fold. 12.4 cms

CONDITION
Condition – Very good, slight loss of plating and scratches and marks on both, mechanisms work OK, bladed worms are both intact.
