PANTECHNETHECA was a Repository for the Arts opened in 1823 and operated in Birmingham by Charles Jones. it was a Greek revival building with the ground floor a Grecian Doric colonnade..with sculpted figures and urns.
The premises contained three showrooms displaying and selling a wide selection of manufactures and art, the articles being the best of Birmingham's wares. the store supplied a great many articles, including Sheffield plate, bronzers, cutlery, and china. It was also an art gallery selling ancient and modern masters.
In the late 1830s, Charles Jones went bankrupt and the property was sold.
In very good condition, just brush missing.
