Robert Jones 1 Registered Design Corkscrew

A very nice example of a Robert Jones 1, an English registered design corkscrew from 1840. 

It is marked on the barrel

“ROBERT JONES & SON MAKERS, 105 CHEAPSIDE BIRMINGHAM, REGISTERED No 823 8th OCTR 1840”.

There is some typical light wear but still in very good shape and working.
