German Louis Kummer Mauser - Later Version.
German double action corkscrew manufactured by Louis Kummer. This is the later version produced in early 20th Century and has a spiral groove cut in the lifting shaft. The shaft is marked "J. A. HENCKELS, SOLINGEN".
This piece is in excellent condition and good working order. The corkscrew has no broken or damaged parts and the corkscrew worm is full length with a sharp point, but the tip is slightly distorted. The corkscrew retains some of the original plating. (Please see pictures for additional details.)
