Two German Corkscrews - Baccus 5 & Spring Barrel DRGM.
Two German corkscrews a Baccus 5 & spring barrel. The details are as follows:
1.German spring assist corkscrew marked on the nickel plated barrel “Bacchus 5 D.R.G.M”. A pin fixed to the shaft slides along a vertical slot in the barrel and locks the shaft to the barrel by a quarter turn of the handle. German registered design # 299,719 dated January 15, 1907. Mathew Weber, Steinbach-Hallenberg.
2.German spring barrel with pivoting locking tab attached to shaft. Gustav Kurschner German registered design # 93,678 dated April 13, 1898. Marked on the handle "DRGM 93,678"
These two items are in very good clean conditition and good working order with no broken or damaged parts. The corkscrew worms are full length with a chipped points. The wooden handles have no chips or cracks. (Please see pictures for additional details.)
