Elegant version of George Twigg’s 1867 British Patent with an unusual lovely patina bronze frame, a dark wood handle with brush, and a top lock catch piece.
The frame is marked “G Twigg’s Patent” on both sides.
The bottom part of the frame is lined inside with leather.

Condition – Very good, some dark marks on the bronze frame and a small casting fault on the top on one side. Handle has a few small marks, slight rust on shaft and worm, worm is intact. Mechanism works OK.
