1) Menz's German Registered Design(marked "D.R.G.M") #1308467 of May 28, 1934. It has ball-bearing assist and a locking device on the shaft that keeps the frame from pushing up when the cork is self-extracted; this can then be depressed to push the frame up the shaft for easy removal of the cork from the bladed helix. See Peters, MECHANICAL CORKSCREWS, page 103.
2) Voigt’s 1895 DRGM # 36,019. Marked "JDEAL". See Peters Mechanical Corkscrew, p. 147
3) Usbeck's 1933 DRGM "Marked BACCHUS WITH CORK EXPELLER, derived from registration No. 1,246,839. The difference between the “Neue Hercules” and the “Bacchus” is the cap remover applied to the barrel of the Bacchus. Also marked on the top of the barrel Gg. HERM. USBECK GEGR. (founded) 1879 STEINBACH-HALLENBERG." See Peters MECHANICAL CORKSCREWS, page 64.
4) Usbeck's 1902 DRGM. It was sold under the trade name "Magnet". See pp. 93 in Peters.
