DESCRIPTION
Ratchet and hook corkscrew.
Uncommon ratchet corkscrew with 6 teeth and a hook on the side. The shank is marked “Prov. Pat.”. The cap lifter is Willett’s 1912 British Registered Design 596,671. The ratchet mechanism is similar to Wolverson’s 1875 British Patent for a ratchet mechanism. See WCC page 287.
