DESCRIPTION
Walter Dickson's U.S. Patent # 106,036, dated August 2, 1870. This corkscrew has an internal ratchet mechanism inside the handle. It is marked on the shaft "Pat. Aug 2, 1870". This piece is in very good overall condition with some small areas of plating loss on the handle. The ratchet mechanism is in good working order. The corkscrew worm is full with a sharp point.
