Charles Hull's Royal Club, Patent No. 480 dated February 26, 1864. Version IV type, with extended bottle grip and brass rollers. Tablet marked “C. Hull Patentee Birmingham Royal Club Corkscrew”. See pg 47, British Corkscrew Patents from 1795 by Fletcher Wallis.
Overall length 260 mm.
CONDITION
Very good condition, with nice worm. Small flat on one brass roller (see photo detail).
