Wally Mellors Collection Ref No214 (MRf054)
Metal turned handle with a squared off cage. This version has two gears, one on either side of the shoulder. It is chrome plated over all. This two gear version was patented by Georges-Pierre Creuse in 1930 [Pg 128, The Ultimate Corkscrew Book by Donald Bull] and manufactured by the Société Boué Deveson at Amiel [Pgs 46-50, Les tire-bouchons francais by Gérard Bidault].

It is marked Modele Depose JB in 12 point star Made in France
Plating and worm in very good condition (see photos). There is a little wear to shoulder hole for the handle pinion shaft so the handle is not quite as tight as it should be.
