Wally Mellors Collection Ref No1845 (MFf135)
Pecquet type corkscrew with a two winged cow horn clad loose fly nut manufactured probably by Ernst Demmier. It is shown in the 1979 Monopolwerk, Usbeck of Steinbach-Hallenberg, catalogue as one of their products from the last 100 years (see Fig 493, pg. 158 of Mechanical corkscrews by Ferd Peters).
Length 175 mm overall. `
The worm is a wire helix.
The corkscrew is unmarked.
In very good condition with a good worm (see photos).
