This is Puddefoot 1894 US Patent, Lady's Leg, THE DETROIT, Solid Neckstand with Wire Pry: Shaped Metal Scales: garter belt. US Patent 522,672 by Charles Puddefoot, 10 Jul 1894.
This piece is in good physical condition with some loss of the silver plating as seen in the pictures. However, as many experienced collectors know, there have been reproductions of this piece showing up in outstanding shape - too good in fact. This is a chance to buy safely.
