DESCRIPTION
This is a French concertina corkscrew. It is marked "L'EXTENSO" on the upper short arms and "MADE IN FRANCE" on one of the lower long arms. It was made by Boué and Deveson and dates from circa 1930s. This corkscrew incorporates the system of Polichinelle de la M.FA.P, since the latter had not filed a patent for its model. It is made of steel. It has a full length sharp worm. It is in untouched condition with very light surface rust, but would clean up nicely.
