DESCRIPTION
French frame type flip top (swivel lock) corkscrew made by Perille, the BAGUE with a forged screw. The frame is marked with the Perille stamp: JHP in a circle DEPOSEE PARIS (see the closeup). When using this corkscrew, the motion begins with the worm up and swivel lock rolled over the top of the threaded shaft which lock it to the shaft. Turning the handle clockwise inserts worm into the cork. Once the handle reaches the frame'stop ring, the nose automatically swivels over and decouples from the shaft. This now allows further clockwise turning of the handle to raise the right threaded shaft and pull the cork.
