Labreche’s Toilet Necessity - Patent

Unusual gentleman’s gadget with corkscrew, knife, bottle opener, button hook and comb.   It is nickel plated and marked “Labreche’s Toilet Necessity, Patented 6 June 1911.  This is the Canadian Patent of Labreche, who also had a 1914 USA patent.  One end opens up, for  storing small items eg matches or toothbrush.

See Peters & Giulian – Pocket Corkscrews page 229 and O’Leary Corkscrews page 129 for a related but different example of the 1914 USA Patent.

Condition – average – the tools are all quite rusty and the curved blade may have lost its tip.  The worm is intact, but there is no toothbrush, as shown in Peters & Giulian.

Shipping Cost:

To be determined.

Seller accepts PayPal payments
Payment Details:

Paypal, Bank Transfer or UK Check.

Seller would appreciate if items over 500 pounds value could be paid by Bank Transfer and not Paypal.  This is due to major problems experienced previously with Paypal, plus their very high fees.  Bank details will be sent on request.
