Moet & Chandon Double Lever. French version of Paul Honigbaum's Goliath German Design Registration Number 172,253 dated March 11, 1902. Nickel plated with locking handle. Marked MOET & CHANDON CHAMPAGNE on top locking mechanism and on the bottle collar. DÉPOSÉ on one side of each lever. Fair condition with rust and plating wear as seen in photos. This corkscrew is from the collection of Homer Babbidge. Homer was a founder member of the ICCA. He co-authored “Corkscrews for Collectors” with Bernard Watney. Homer died in 1984.
