Offered is an antique Sir Edward Thomason 1802 type brass barrel corkscrew with applied Royal Coat of Arms and the famous makers name 'Heeley & Sons'. The patent badge is very crisp with fine detail to all lettering with the motto "Honi Soit Qui Maly Pense" or "evil be to him who evil thinks". Beautiful turned bone handle, original dusting brush and perfect helical worm. This is a rare and very collectible corkscrew in exceptional condition.
