This is an unusual variation of of a hermaphrodite corkscrew with 2 pilaar frame. I can not find any examples of this corkscrew in any of my reference books and none of the collectors that i've talked to have been able to identify it. It is unmarked. It has an all steel frame and mechanism with a rosewood handle. The hangle ring at the top is missing. It measure 11" (28 cm) in the fully extended position. Note that the outer frame currently does not move; the collar at the base of the lower thread should rotate with respect to the thread but it appears to be siezed up and will not allow the outer thread to move. I tried some WD-40 on the collar but was unable to get it to move, perhaps you can figure out how to fix it. The worm is full length and sharp. There is some light pitting, mostly on the outer thread and the pillars.
Condition is very good, typical wear with age. The lower mechanism is siezed, as described above.
