White’s Folding Corkscrew/Carriage Key
Rare example of White’s folding corkscrew which folds into a narrow bow to form a carriage key. There is a rotating handle at the other end to help turn the carriage key. A small clip locks the handle to the carriage key when not in use. It is made in bright steel and is marked “Trad….” for Trademark and “Squirrel” with a small picture of a squirrel. This was the 1878 registered trademark of Thomas White, Birmingham. It come in a small maroon leatherette box.

Condition – excellent, slight rusting on the corkscrew shaft, worm is complete.
